"The place where you are happy is your reality". Nibbasoverhere Jan 26 2018 1:22 am All throughout episode 15 I kept having this nagging feeling that 2018 was still a dream, and after the show's ending, I more firmly like to believe that Tae-joo needed closure and that's why he returned to the present, albeit briefly. Nam-shik is the only one to address him, and asks if Tae-joo has finished packing. To get. Yours complete this truly, outstanding ride of the show.
Sighing, Tae-joo muses that this will likely be his last chance to go home. It seems to say that sometimes we do need something different than the life we have built. Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol (KBS2) He was too quick to recover, everything fell into place too quickly. friendship crime family and a little bit of love line Its such a consistent drama. Am glad seeing there are Singaporeans here :)). For this is where I know it's home. Homemade Love Story (KBS2) I'll try & think of it this way.
Sad and happy at the same time. One of the best show of 2018.❤️. I feel you, PakalanaPikake. Because we've lived his delusion with him. We don't know. They sober when Dong-chul asks about Chief Ahn, but he’s still at large. What has seemed to be a month in a coma may actually be a much shorter period of time that has been drawn out.
Tae-joo’s handcuffs—that he’d used on Chief Ahn—are found discarded at the docks. this was the very last chance for HTJ to return back to 2018. i would think that by ignoring his subconscious, it represented 2018 HTJ eventually falling into deeper coma, or even death. Another thing I’ve been thinking about is that, in the earlier episodes of the show the medical team in 2018 mention that the damage to TaeJoo is extensive and that even if he wakes up he will never be the same. sky Aug 29 2018 1:01 pm The ending is also way more satisfying, less ambiguous and makes more sense in the Korean version versus either one of the other two. One of our most loved national songs. @news At first i thought the writers were gonna wrap it up in ep 15 and he really awake but in ep 16 where he jump from a building and ended up in 80s again, i think he never got up at all. (spoilers!!!).
87 for the score? great acting. // Load the SDK asynchronously It's like telling people that suffers from depression to commits suicide to actually be happy and free from all this suffering. I think I would want a more concrete answer about Tae-joo's choice if he has things to lose in the 2018. Chocho Chiemerie Aug 23 2020 7:06 am I enjoy this one, the cases are fun to solve, i got all correct except the last one which is real cobfusing, bit teased for season 2 but i must say the epilogue is bittersweet as it is, especially if it meant to be the end. As leader of a crime investigation team, Han Tae Joo has propelled his career and risen through the ranks by trusting data over all else. I agree that there is Supernatural Going On, and it has Mugyo / Muism written all over it. It is quite good. When Han Tae-Joo wakes up, he finds himself in 1988.
you remember drama because this is my first life ? One puzzle I still don't understand is why the villain Chief An Min Seok is in Tae Joo's "dream" in 1988 but when Tae Joo was checking on this guy when he woke up in 2018, he was not in the police records at all. the crazy thing is even though we all have diff theories or thoughts and even the original writer does, literally all interpretations are correct in the fact that it's what we make of it. Hahaha. So when you are depressed you won't feel anything like pain etc. It seems like he ran away from his reality to live in his imagination.
The Korean version also has a much better cast overall. It doesn't really matter to me. I'm reminded in a good way of Park Do-kyung's premonitions of impending death in OH HAE-YOUNG AGAIN. I'm looking forward to reading everyone else's theories, and to pondering more this afterlife waiting-room idea. I think it was just a simulation of how things could have been had he stayed alive and not reality. Osts are great. Even though I'm personally not sure about the ending, I do appreciate the writing of this drama. the 1st time HTJ encounters AMS in 1988 before he wakes up, at the warehouse, AMS tells him that HTJ’s team members are nothing but hallucinations to keep him in 1988. he tells him to ignore them and the ongoing fight in order to ‘return home’, which refers to going back to 2018. It's been said before: While he was dreaming in a coma like state, he sorted out the hidden scars from his childhood, especially his father's murder. It’s a transfer notice for Tae-joo to return to Seoul and Dong-chul asks if he requested it.
if reality is so hard, why do some people still choose to live in it? I may not have been as 'subsumed' into the world of Mars, but I certainly know the feeling. However, despite how I view the ending, the rest of the drama makes up for the ending. That said, I will try to forget the previous versions when I watch this and pretend it isn't a remake, like I did with the Korean Criminal Minds. But personally, I like to believe that it's some sort of parallel world that's been built using Tae-joo's subconscious memories. All Rights Reserved.
