My pastor gave me the movie and i watched maybe ten minutes then shut it off ran to the bookstore and grabbed the book amazing movie and book. All the hardships it showed were amazing. His grades aren't the best, though, and his strict, adulterer of a father never seems to be pleased by Jake. I love how the church and God were portrayed. I read this before I went to go see the movie, and I must say that I could not put it down.
